Re: P2097...driving me bonkers... yes, AGAIN (P2 - 2002 V70 2.4T)
I have replaced the whole pipe. It is known to develop cracks over years, plus I needed a new PTC valve: the original was filed wider to compensate for blow-by gases and extra flow resistance of external oil catcher can. After the engine has been rebuilt, the can was thrown out, yet the fuel trim wa...

On encouraging side, both our transmissions work great!

Re: Vida CEM swapping
I did a clone with m16c-flasher.de to read the dump and write it into the donor, and clone EEPROM by desoldering it and working with TL866A.

Not sure whether the gasket for inadvertently deformed, or shrunk over time, or the material soaked through. Add the sealant to both mating surfaces to be sa...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
There are only 2 bolts holding the bumper. The rest is plastic push pin clips and a couple of torx screws. I can do my bumper out and then back in with eyes closed, in under 5 minutes. It is that easy.

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
I replaced my oil cap gasket (which was pretty hard) and upper engine mount (rubber insert moved freely inside). Now I'm thinking I need to do the strut brace mounts as they seemed pretty soft–or is this normal? They are soft by design, to keep vibrations under control. Also thinking of swapping ou...

Re: Vida CEM swapping
Does anyone have some instructions about the P3 bench setup? It would be a great way to start playing with the code and setup? P3 on the bench .. Follow this link and get a EWD ( Electrical Wiring Diagram ). See if you can figure it out. It's in VIDA, in information section, under cables and fuses....
