Re: 2.5T Oil pump bolts: sealant or none?
Googling around, it looks like Volvo bolt p/n 987348 has some white sealant on the threads closer to the head. I don't know, add some Loctite White (565)? Or buy new bolts

The point was to eliminate that ugly empty spot next to the aftermarket 2DIN head unit 
Also I totally hate the idea of passing every aspect of my life to the ever spying smartphone. The DDD project is an open source one though, so you can turn it into a web server

To be able to solder components with 1/10" pitch is enough. You also need DiCE+VIDA to clear up errors: simply mixing up CAN wires or selecting incorrect bus speed does raise up like two dozens of errors. OBD-II port may blow up a fuse or another ;) DiCE/VIDA is also needed to read software ver...

There's Automotive Grade Linux
It boots to operational state in a few seconds. However it's not RPI.
