Re: Permanent removal of rear seat, 2006 Volvo XC70
Just fold it down? It converts into a perfect flat platform, why even bother with the removal? The seats also take big part in sound dampening.

Re: 2002 V70 2.4t TCM-0094
LED drivers emit a lot of interference into the power system, it is well known that replacing halogen bulbs with cheap LEDs can cause problems with electronics.
I would start with disconnecting the LEDs, clearing the codes yet again and checking if your problem is resolved.

Re: 2004 xc70 Trying to replace my valve cover gasket
Make sure every bolt is removed or slacked sufficiently. I see you have an upper engine mount still in place.
But as jonesg said: there are other places that cause leaks more readily.

You need a new gasket for each: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-camshaft-solenoid-gasket-reinz-30731212 It is not uncommon for mesh filter in this gasket to clog. Absolutely don't over-tighten the bolts! They don't take much to torque, li...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Suspension was 10 years and 100k miles old. It was OE Volvo, with ~1" polyurethane puck above strut bearing and subframe shimmed by 5/8". Decided it's time to refresh it and get rid of pucks along the way. Ground to fender was 31-1/4" 4.jpg Used Bilstein B4 struts for XC90 and XC90 sp...
