Re: 2004 XC70: Next steps for turbocharger leak diagnosed by Volvo dealer

Thanks. I have not seen any blue smoke coming out of the tailpipe and nothing feels abnormal. I asked the tech (through the service advisor) how long they thought I could just "live with it" and they said at least a few months, but also cautioned they didn't think I should ignore the leak...

The holes have broken across the lines as on the attachment. I was going to use stainless steel bolts for sure...

Turned out to be a heavily corroded positive connection on the fuses box, the one that connects battery, starter, alternator and all the ele...

Re: 2007 XC70 (P2) - Excessive Vibrations Under Acceleration

Vibration under acceleration is usually worn tripods in axles. If you're handy, you can add a shim to tripod, so it sits deeper in the housing. Or convert to XC90 2.5T axles.

Re: Vida CEM swapping

Firstly, thank you to the creator of the tool and those that contributed. Anyone have idea why it intially reads the ECU part number correctly to then fails a few minutes later with "unknown cem part number 0" ? Im assuming my wiring is correct as it initially reads the correct part numbe...

Re: 04 v70 steering line

13 mm socket on a long extension, behind the sway bar. Only 1/4" extension fits as is, but you can push the sway bar with crowbar upwards and make space for 3/8" extension.
