Re: 2007 S60 2.5T Serpentine Belt & Tensioner
I laid the bearing in that area so I can take a picture. The PS Pump was not in way. It's the chassis / frame and timing belt area that I had difficulty with. With the wheel and bearing in the new tensioner I may not be able to find an angle to get it in from the top. Will find out and post whether...

Re: 07 xc70 lukewarm heat am stumped
Run CCM calibration (DiCE/VIDA required). You may have a faulty blend door actuator. Common problem.

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Now the real hack job. Center console on these is removable and the latches (like all mid-2000s plastics) known to break. I’ll fix you. Even color matched the caulk—that’s not going anywhere. IMG_3671.jpeg Also had to JBWeld the console lid…ugh these plastics. Correction: Volvo eco-friendly self-de...

Re: Vida CEM swapping
I made copy paste to excel. Any help is surely welcome :) EDIT: that did not work, excel deleted double zero values. edit 2.0: Finally. HEX file attached. (added as .txt as could not add it otherwise). By the hint: 0x006000 67 95 26 38 88 11 = PIN = 38 95 88 67 11 26 (byte swap?) 0x4000/0x6000, not...

Re: 07 xc70 lukewarm heat am stumped
I believe the specialist I took it to did that but going to text him to confirm. But that had we thinking about the climate control module and how to rule out if it's gone bad or not. Apart from ordering one online, swapping it and testing the heat, are there any other ways to rule it out? CCM cali...

Re: 2006 XC70 246k Engine noise
Whoosh-whoosh-whoosh is likely a VVT hub. Exhaust side usually dies first.

Re: Vida CEM swapping
Anyone want to experiment his CEM-B (01-04) with the new code? https://github.com/vtl/volvo-cem-cracker/tree/cem-b It does not give any advantage over OpenMoose, other than no Windows is required. One day I'll merge 4 branches into one, I promise... ;) P2 2001-04: https://github.com/vtl/volvo-cem-cr...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
MVS_XC90_6191.jpg The rear brakes needed an overhaul. It took forever to pull away the rotor after releasing the parking brake as described in VIDA. There are 7 critical bolts on each side - 4 for hub, 2 for caliper, and 1 for axle. VIDA says to use new bolts. Hub by FAG; and rotor and pads by Bosc...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
I recently purchased one from the first eBay seller PN 39802015 without the rubber piece also. Perhaps it's stronger but not sure if it will scuff the seat belt overtime. I haven't installed it yet. The color is not exact as I didn't pull the broken piece for both the XC90 and S60 to check the PN. ...
