Re: 1996 850 interference
I've worked on the 10 valve (B5252S) 5 cylinder engines and they're interference motors; flycuts on pistons means that's the case.

'97 855 GLT: Notes on changing heater core pipes
After reading here about the good chance of having a leaking heater core and especially about suddenly bursting heater hoses, I decided it would be a good idea to do some preventative maintenance. So I replaced the heater core, heater core pipes and heater hoses which were all original on my 1997 85...

Re: 98 v70r PLEASE HELP: forgotten paper towel in turbo
The paper won't make it into the oil, it will get shredded by the turbo, sucked into the combustion chamber and get burned up either in the cylinders or in the cat. IF it makes it through the intercooler. I think the internal on the intercooler is fine enough it will effectively catch big pieces. If...

1997 Volvo 855 EVAP Vent Valve line repair video
I don't think it will be of interest to the people on the site with lots of experience, but I had to repair a cracked line between the charcoal canister and the vent valve on my 1997 Volvo 855 last weekend, and I made a video of the repair in case anybody was curious what was involved or what tools ...
