Re: Molybdenum Disulfide - Unitended Consiquences
I have never had an issue with 5 years of oil changes with all my vehicles running Mos2 powder 1.5 micron mixed with synthetic motor oil standard. About 4 capfulls added to oil. I do notice a performance difference using Mos2. Not imaginary but proven tested results of Mos2 across all industry uses,...

Re: clutch pedal stays down

Try bleeding the system first. Perhaps a clog has caused the fork to remain depressed.

Re: I miss you guys
Sorry to hear it, and I feel similar. Could not do much for health reasons the last year, I hope this year will be better. My 850 is neglected, and similarly I have not really been active here. :| It will be good to see you posting about fixing up the 850 when you're able. We'll be here. It's a bon...

Re: where do you keep your phone in your 850?
Whatever works best. The vents in my 850 at least are way to unstable to support a phone. Suction can work, I use an old navigon holder because they don't make them like they used to... as with cars. . Yes, instability and broken vents can be a problem with vent holders. This particular brand when ...

Re: where do you keep your phone in your 850?
The main issue with 850 vents is that it "drops down" by itself after the phone is mounted due to the weight of the phone. Phone would not be vertical. So I have to mount the phone "lower" on the mount such that bottom edge of the phone will touch the climate control panel to try...

Re: where do you keep your phone in your 850?
So I bought one of these clamp to the vent units, but the vents just don't support the weight of the phone. So Instarted hacking and came up with a nice solution that has the phone near enough to speak while driving and have Waze online to warn me of speed traps. I used a blank switch hole cover and...

94 T5 - could my timing belt been off a tooth?
When redoing my timing belt (but only after removing the tensioner) it seemed to me that my timing marks seem odd right now. Could I've been running with the exhaust side 1 tooth of for 7 years without noticing?
How many teeth can the cams benoff w/o causing any damage? Can't be much, I guess.

Re: 94 T5 - could my timing belt been off a tooth?
You'll notice the difference when it's timed properly. Mine was off a tooth for years also, then when the interval for replacement was up, voila, ran smoother and a bit more peppy.
