Yeah, the S60s do suck for this.

I did my v70 from underneath with zip ties, rotating the clutch so that each leaf was forward to work on it

You don’t need to remove the whole liner, just fold the bAck the front piece.

It’s designed with a crease in the right place

No reason to suspect the head, bypass the core as noted , watch oil and coolant levels to see if they change.

Any leak in the induction path will give you a horrible idle, do check all the hoses

2 turbo clamps
Clamp at the bridge pipe
Clamp at bottom of inter cooler
Clamp top of inter cooler
Clamp at ETM

Hosesat the intercooler are easy to install half on/ half off

Try torquing the front axle bolts to spec, if they get loose they trigger ABS
