It’s more likely the block ports are plugged
I think the smallhard hose only vacuums the PCV box at idle speed, though. You have to fix it so worth a try.

Bart...be careful routing those hoses in that XC tank. It’s easyto kink them and then you gets really brutal intermittent fuel delivery problem

I think the C70 series shares the wiring with the V70 series earlier generation called P80 It sounds like the clutch is pulling too much current - that is the only thing that has electrical load on the AC system. Thanks for replying. I took it out for a drive and noticed the coughing is gone. I’ll need to drive it a few times to be sure. What’s a coil? As for the other parts I’m not sure. I’d have to check my records. Rotor... as in brake rotors? When should one replace wires and distributor cap? More impor...

I find it a lot easier to put the belt on the water pump last..it’s larger radius and you are pushing the belt down, which is easier than pulling the small radius up to the tensioner
