Re: Seat interchange, swap, exchange

I can contribute this to the stitching discussion: I worked in quality control for a manufacturer that made the seats for Honda Odyssey mini vans. They outsourced the skins to a company in Mexico. Around the area where the air bag deploys, the stitching is indeed “different”, in that it is controlle...

Re: Seat interchange, swap, exchange

And also, thank you oragex for the videos. I’m sure it takes a tremendous amount of time to make all the videos you do, and this time is added on top of however long it takes to do whatever it is you’re doing for yourself. And of course then there’s the amount of time you spend answering questions a...

Re: 1999 S70NA rear spring choices 3546335 or 3546893

If you have a look at the PDF on top in this page;

http://www.proparts.se/sv/artiklar/chas ... index.html

You'll see that the first one you're suggesting is
12.50 * 126 * 385 mm
The second one;
12 * 126 * 392 mm

Re: P80 P2 Dipstick 9497557 Foibles - Abscate Tech Tip #666

Here is what I have done with success: I clean the two plastic pieces up with brake cleaner - one wants to get rid of all the oil. I deburr as required so when I put the pieces together it is nice and clean and makes a tight joint. Then I gently rough up the outside of the area and clean again. Next...

Brake Booster Vacuum Switch #31400608 Top Popped Off

Hi, I'm cross posting this here: Funny story. I just moved my snow tires over to my 2004 XC90 2.5T because the vacuum pump on my 2003 XC90 T6 was running steady for several minutes after the ignition was switched off. It also ran several minutes when the key was turned on (brake pedal not depressed)...

I think I still have the bag they came in. If so I'll check the P/N on the label and get back.

Re: The SRS Codes that Will NOT Die

Interesting thread.
It would be easier to fix the current problem if you knew what the original problem was - that may not be possible. I doubt the seller will tell you anything as their actions were most likely criminal.
Very, very likely. Car forensics. Following!

Re: 2001 V70XC - Random stall when coming to a stop...

When the ETM on my '01 V70 was dying, it threw a few accelerator pedal-related codes. After having the ETM rebuilt, the accelerator pedal codes went away, so I'm fairly certain nothing was wrong with the pedal or pedal sensor in my case. I think it was just one way the ETM tried to interpret the dat...
