Re: I’m bad at screw clamps. Anybody use Oetiker clamps?

Great in assembly settings, like a factory.
Not so great in everyday real world settings. And not re-usable. Might as well use a zip-tie.

Service loaners? When my Volvo needs repair, my Volvo dealer provides a new Volvo service loaner for me to drive. This last time I had their loaner for 6 1/2 months. While in my care my insurance covers it. I had a 2021 XC60T6 nicely equipped for 4 months, than a 2022 XC60B5. Neither had a sticker ...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Went into the WwF ring with an XC muffler. Couldn’t get the joint above the axle apart, so had to successively cut pieces off , starting with grinder, finishing with Sawzall. Not too bad labor wise but a lot of obnoxious metal chips. Mounted up the twin mufflers, got hangers on, then puttied and in...

Re: P80 S70 secret compartment , rear shelf

Silly, the 'roos are locked in the cellar, with the kids and wife and so on.

Btw, I believe from factory the 1st aid package is in that small compartment.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Changed shocks and shock mounts on my '98 V70. Been spraying the bolts with PB and scrubbing with toothbrush for over a month and was extremely relieved when I got the bolts out without snapping them (and they did not look good.) Don't we get a merit badge or something for this?
