Re: Idle tensioner

The serpentine belt and the timing belt are completely separate , so you don’t have to worry about the timing

I recently put on a Conti Belt ona 1998 and it was so tight the tensioner wasn’t needed. Something going on there

Re: Idle tensioner

It's a child game. You have to replace the serpentine belt and the tensioned. There are severals videos on the web that explains the operation. A couple of tools needed.

Re: Radiator fan

Ect sensor and it's relay MUST be oem.
If you bought aftermarket sensor and relay this is expected.
Also check wiring on a relay and ect sensor from wiring loom side.

Re: Radiator fan

+1 on what misha says. Only Volvo unless you are in Europe where you may find the OEM supplier parts like Vernet for the ECT.

Re: manifold bolt

Happy new year! Exhaust manifold uses studs and nuts, no bolts. Or locknuts, actually. You can get new studs from any auto parts store just bring in an old one to match it up, re-use the locknuts or get them from the junkyard or buy some new ones at any auto parts store. Intake manifold uses bolts. ...
