Drop the tweeters in the rear pillars completely and you'll improve the sound stage a bit.

I'm sure you can fit them in the doors with a bit of cutting and gluing.

They can develop cracks in the plastic and get flaky before they fail outright. The electronics can also get flaky.

They are not all the same, 120A, 140A or 160A depending on the options the car came with. You need to get the numbers off the alternator to determine which one you have.

The amperage will shown as somethig like, "70 ->120". The low number is the output at a standard alternator RPM for engine idle speed and 120 is max rated.

It is the wire for the speaker that isn't there unless you have the optional sound system.

The handling/stability at speed wont like this, plus you may have camber issues causing uneven tire wear. My S60 got lifted from replacement shocks and ouch the change

Why lift? There are reenforced springs that keep geometry and handling stock (a tad stiffer in the rear perhaps) but also keep the car from sinking too low when loaded, if that's the issue.
