Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
For the past few weeks my dashboard lights have not been working when the headlight switch is turned to the "on" position. So figuring out my speed at night has been super fun. Anyway I decided to tear apart the switch and clean it up. A little cleaning with light sanding and new dielectri...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Installed my Erie volvo door latch assembly and a door cable from FCP on the xc90. Works like a charm now. The cable is only $15 for new bluebox. Also took the time to swap out the turn signal indicator. It feels so much better and actually works now. My new problem that I hoped the new indicator wo...

Re: P80 Volvo 3D Parts Library Build

Re: P80 Volvo 3D Parts Library Build
Control knobs for Electronic Climate Control (ECC). I seem to be the only one who needs this but my knobs broke at the center and the metal clips popped out. I blame decades of Texas summers. Anyway I designed 2 versions. One that requires the metal clip and one that does not. I tried to mimic the t...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
This is the car the S60R B5254T engine I'm building is going into. 1995 854 Turbo. 253,000 and change miles on the chassis. I'm pretty sure the head gasket in the B5234T blew somewhere around 230,000 miles, but only became a real smoker around 250,000. Still drove fine though, but Virginia does ins...

Re: Sudden increase oil usuage 98 S70 n/a, manual
I suppose it could be burning oil without leaving a james bond style smoke plume. Check the cylinders and plugs for oil like you planned. Being a manual NA you dont have to worry about a turbo or the oil cooler.

Re: MVS is 20!
Happy 20th MVS!
Without this forum and it's ever knowledgeable members, my wagon would still be sitting undrivable over a bad pnp switch. Thanks to everyone who helped get me this far. I'll drive her until the end of eternity. Here's to another 20 years!
