Re: How to determine a fair asking price 1995 850GLT?

I also think it would be a beautiful car for someone as it’s impeccable inside, good body , no rust, dents, etc. If I didn’t already love my c30 - which is perfect for my dog and carting around my artwork - I would consider it for myself. Thanks for your thoughts. If it's that nice cosmetically, sh...

Re: 2004 S60R Exhaust Manifold removal.

I'll keep an eye out for all those parts locally. Every now and again I come across B8444S part outs.

This will be a cool project! I'm really excited to see how it goes!

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

My OE Volvo strut brace came in today from iPd. Seems they're the last place in the US that has any in stock. I would have loved to get it for around $80 shipped from FCP when they had them, but they're out of stock there.

Re: M56 manual transmission Swap: The Ultimate Parts List

I might have a couple of questions as far as the clutch and flywheel go. I'm swapping an m56 into a 1999 v70xc. The car I got the transmission off of is a 2003 s60 N/A. I'm working on getting a rack and pinion, pedals, and a shifter assembly. I'm going with an aftermarket boot and shift knob. Do I ...

Re: Volvo Findings! (What have you found on Craigslist?)

Found a listing for 06 s40 manual transmission with "blown head gasket" that won't start. Listing notes that it's sat in the driveway for 3 years. It's listed for $400. Would I be crazy for trying to fix it? Three years ... pull the dipstick. If there has been coolant in the crankcase for...

jonslave wrote: 12 May 2020, 19:20 I heard these cars didn't have a clear on them. Is that true? There isn't any peeling which you would expect.
Correct, 601 red is single stage. A compound job with M105 or similar will clear that paint right up.

Re: Timing, 96 850 turbo

The notch on the oil pump can be tricky to see sometimes, but it's there. Just shine a light at different angles and you'll see it.

What driveshaft wheel are you referring to? The only marks are on the cam sprockets/timing cover and the crank pulley/oil pump.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Got the Delrin bushings installed into the T5's subframe, while prepping for the manual install. https://turbochuckcom.ipage.com/webimages/projects/97%20Volvo%20854T5/2020/Manual%20Swap/bushin_2.jpg Oooh yeah, delrin is the way to go! Chuck - Do those get pressed into the frame ? Some lube and a de...
