I think you got the timing off too, because you started with the wrong datum. Use a camshaft alignment tool. Timing is critical on a diesel because, compression is what ignites the fuel. Go back through it and this time do it by the book.

Information / Repair / Overhaul. Then find Cylinder head install in the left menu. May sure you have the crankshaft aligned before doing the camshafts.

Another way to write a shuffle, which I think is better is: B:P 0:3 1:1 2:0 3:2 4:4 ( .bin to Pin, 0 to 3, 1 to 1, 2 to 0, 3 to 2, 4 to 4 ). The advantages are: 1.
