Re: Fixing 850 lower front bumper damage

850R extensions available from here. Well recommended company here in the UK and I know he's had quite a few international (including the USA) customers.

Re: Evidence of leaking heater core, but unsure if it’s just the core

I have found the quality of the seals is variable with aftermarket seals. Their thickness can vary as well as be too hard so they do not compress sufficiently when under pressure to prevent leakage. I normally suggest paying up for OE seals, but even that may not be perfect on aftermarket cores as t...

Re: Fixing 850 lower front bumper damage

Or you can buy a plastic welder and repair it. I did with a bumper that had 2 'bunny ears' caused by someone running over and then backing off a concrete parking bay stop block. Once painted you could not tell. We have a store here called Princess Auto that sells the unit for about $70 CDN which com...

Re: Contemplating full fuel injector replacement

I’m inclined to believe it’s probably the fuel injector, as the car was tuned up 1 year ago, new ignition coil, cap, rotor, wires and plugs. No issues at all since. Lots of things can happen in a year. Misfire one cylinder only. Most common causes are: Defective or loose Spark Plug. Defective or lo...

Re: Odd PCV setup on 94 850 for sale on Craigslist/NJ

I'm not sure what that connector on top of the strut tower is, but the computer is the ABS module. But yeah, callahanoffroad hit the nail on the head with everything! That's a fuel line, unrelated to the PCV.

Re: Contemplating full fuel injector replacement

For sure non-turbo 98 V70 and 95-96-97 non-turbo 850 all used the same injectors in US spec cars. There are no doubt other cars use these Bosch yellow injectors but that's an easy list to work with. I've got a spare set of yellows from a 98. 93-94 cars have a handful of oddities, I'm really not sure...

300,000 Thank Yous

Hello MVS, No need for help today. Just wanted to publicly pass along to Matt and everyone here that makes this site what it is: thank you. I was given this car by my dad who got it new in 2000. It had a fair amount of issues when I got it (parents were tired of the all the random problems) and as a...
