Re: 96 850 leaking ATF, not 100% sure of the source yet..
I don't think that seal has any significant pressure behind it, just the pressure in the return line, which is minimal. I did use the Lucas stop leak, I think it slowed down, but mine is still there, but leaking enough to keep it oily down there. But it's worth adding a power steering stop leak to t...

Re: 850 Trans Cooler lines o-Ring question
The orings etc and connections are the same. but you can just klick through to the AT lines on the site and see for yourself. https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=240423&ukey_make=865&ukey_model=11966&modelYear=1995&ukey_category=7095&ukey_driveLine=...

Re: 850 Trans Cooler lines o-Ring question
O-ring plus clear sealing ring like in your pic. Hausmeister's part numbers are correct. Volvo says 968757 is made for the other end of the oil cooler lines, back at the engine thermostat. Maybe it also works where the hoses enter the rad, don't know. And Volvo also lists 684213 and 968757 on the sa...

Re: Detroit Axle - Part Numbers for 850
And you don't know if these are just stock pictures. Either will fit, the difference is the inner and outer tie rods. Interesting that the 'cheaper' option does not show it fitting any V70 or C70 cars, but it does fit a 2000 S70 AWD. Neither is listed for V70 AWD variants?? In fact if you check they...

Re: 98 V70 base inner door handle does not work
Appreciate the offer. I have a full set of spare actuators (as you do!) should it be required but as the actuator is working otherwise I was hoping not to replace it. I don't want to fit a used one unless I fix the motor resistor first. I have seen Robert's video in the past but it referred to the o...

Re: 96 850 - Seat covers or new skins?!
Lseat has reasonable prices, seemingly the whole front set for $350: https://www.lseat.com/products/1991-1997-volvo-850-custom-real-leather-seat-covers-front.html I haven't been able to dig up much info on the quality and customer satisfaction. I don't see how they can even buy the leather for that ...

Re: Best tool to open up fog light holes on 1996 850 bumper/valance, and any tips?
Shoot, I missed this. I did this about two years ago. It was a pain. I put blue painters tape over the exterior of the corners, and from the inside I used a cordless soldering iron and poked through the ring outlines from along the inner of the two, I believe. I then finished it with a cheap cordle...

Re: 96 850 - Seat covers or new skins?!
My first leather skin swap probably took 4 hours. I just removed a nice beige skin seat back in 15 minutes. It’s all in the practice.
