[Tutorial] Increasing the charging voltage (14.5V)

I was finally able to improve the charging on the S70 / V70 / 850. The original Untitled7_20220402210811.png regulator charged max 14.1V on the battery, but on average below 14V. I used a regulator from BMW, which looks similar to the factory Volvo. Untitled6_20220402203836.png It differs in the con...

Re: 93 M56 in 96R?

Re: 93 M56 in 96R?

Robert Spinner (posting as rspi here) is doing one right now in California.
I agree with the advice to get all the bits form the donor car, especially the trim pieces around the shifter - and of course, be careful, all that plastic is brittle.

Re: She met her maker

Carjackers and auto thieves should be taken to remote wilderness areas, shot twice in the leg and left for dead.

Re: Key turning issue

Well I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it, since I probably should have tried it when I was first having issues with the lock, but graphite lube for the win! From the first spray the problem mostly disappeared, a little twisting of the key and now it's completely solved. Thank you!
