Re: '98 V70 AWD manual swap donor compatibility
There are no arguing the AWD NLA parts issues. Rear brake back plates, R rear calipers, some of the rear suspension bushes and the like. However, recently some aftermarket manufacturers have started to supply some stuff, quality TBA. There is IPD selling I believe PPS fuel pumps at about 20% of the ...

Re: p/s pressure line NLA
That should not be a problem since there are plenty construction hydraulic machines services who can replace and press in a new hose on old connections/hard lines.
Also if needed...they can make and replace old hardlines.

Re: p/s pressure line NLA
If you need the entire line,
aftermarket is certainly out there.
You can start with eBay as a baseline.

Re: oil thermostat o ring and RTV
I am not a fan of RTV. It can cause corrosion from the acetic acid and the crumbly bits that get loose work their way to other areas and cause problems in valves.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
It's for keeping the black rectangular O ring between motor and oil thermostst in place during installation. otherwise it supposedly falls off too easily. Is the car suffering from the Leaky Line syndrome ? Lots of people here just eliminate the lines and put on the N/A 'delete' plate 1366780. In e...

Re: 98 S70 front hood latch
.
I believe it was bmdubya1198 that mentioned in another post about wedging a piece of cardboard instead of the wood to open the hood.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
I want to believe that the oil cooler does something good when forcing my wagons up mountain passes or around racetracks - even though we know that the RN oil cooler was the far superior design. It's for keeping the black rectangular O ring between motor and oil thermostst in place during installat...

Re: Side repeater conversion on 96 850
Ours are only a single filament bulb, and are only wired into the turn signal circuit. They're only on when using the turn signals/hazard flashers and when the lights flash when locking the car with the central locking.
