If I were going the route of keeping a pre-all electronics car going forever I would stock up on parts that will eventually wear out. I kept a '67 Ford Econoline van dressed out as a camper (doubling to haul building materials during that phase) going for over 200,000 miles, over time replacing ever...
I agree with the sentiments on what is new is old now and the hard to fix stuff like OBD 1/2 are now mainstream. The harder part is the repairing of the huge amount of electronics on newer cars. For those of us with no electrical background, have you ever tried to follow a CANBUS wiring diagram for ...
.Maybe a gen 1 late XC90 with R-design seats? Neil. I thought their AT isproblematic. I believe it depends on the engine. The inline 6 always got a GM FWD transmission that could be an issue. The 5 got whatever the cars got, and I don't know about the V8. I've looked at two XC90's and have not been...

I concur on the brand of plugs leads but they are getting hard to find. 10V are harder to find than 20V. I have a friend with the 20V in a 98 and has been running NGK cables for about 6 years with no issues as a possible alternate.

Last time it was holding for two months....recharged again and gas escaped over night. Ac shop filled ac system with nitrogen on high pressure and diagnosed...
