Re: Non-Volvo car chat megathread

Is that a factory wheel option or aftermarket? I like it!

(I'm not seeing a car cover)

Could you help the gentleman in the 122 forum on shop recommendations in Albany?

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

I agree, good find! It looks clean and straight. Also, if you can someday, those bumpers have to go. And some nice OEM wheels or period BBS. Or Alpina wheels, the classics!

Re: What does your garage look like?

Nice. Charles and Ray Eames design manufactured by Herman Miller. Spare parts are available at a H-M store, which they have to have in Denver. We even have one here and they just put free arms on my office chair At 12 years old!

Re: I spotted a Volvo! thread

Did something tall, like a pickup, back up into it hard? Or something was coming at it from the drivers front and hooked it right at the back of the drivers door. Didn't hit the sill, didn't scrape down the side, and it doesn't look like the Volvo was sliding and hit a hydrant or something.

This makes me think transmission, not rear end. The diff and driveshaft are still spinning while in motion.

Re: 850 Tool question

For troublesome small bolts, there is also a simple thing called an impact screwdriver . You can install any kind of bit for allen, torx, screws, etc. It's a small cylinder you hold and smack the end with a hammer. It drives the bit into the screw or bolt so it doesn't slip, while turning it just a ...
