Re: 2017 xc60 suspension click
I find that the sway bar end link is almost always in tension or compression when you test and I can't find any play in it, but it's often there. Would sway bar bushings allow some up-down movement that you're hearing? There were no up-down movements with testing both with wheel on the ground and o...

Re: 93 940 towed behind on a car dolly now drive doesn't engage only reverse and 1 low. this is an automatic
How long was the towing distance? I assume it's rear driven and you got it the front axle on the dolly ? Then i think you fried your tranny... Automatics, espacially old ones don't like being turned without the engine running. The engine needs to run to turn the primary pump and lubricate the transm...

My son had a few friends over for a sleepover
... he's 15, so this is not the first, but at 15 it's a whole different ballgame. At around 7pm last night, the Denver Nuggets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game was about to air, and I was going to watch it, but my son came up to me and said they want to go to a park in the city to meet other friends. ...

Re: Dimensions of Cam Seal Drift Tools (9995718 9995719)
This is very clever. You could make these and sell to the rest of us. If anyone needs them I can print one for sure, but I don't want to start a webshop or anything. Question - is the thin inner extended rim of the tool pushing the rubber part of the seal out of the way in order to push the seal in...

Re: A $100 '99 V70 GLT

Besides I had the time :) Reset the timing belt tensioner and pumped out all of the gas, but now I think I should get a fuel filter, considering that its been sitting for 4 ye...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
The varnish on the dash was all cracked when I bought the car. Lucky for me there was plenty coats of varnish on allowing me to spend many hours with wet & dry and Farecla G3 then G10 before polishing and waxing. I guess the Ozzy sunshine was a bit harsh on the varnish.

Re: Volvo Island - population now 2!
I guess i will never will be able to understand something like this. Car that is able to be fixed should be fixed and driven. Car that is DNR/DNI should go to the volvo Valhalla while supporting other Vikings with used parts. To imagine someone drove the car into the lake just for what? To contamin...
