Re: 99 S70 p1017 and p1620 code dead end

I'd double check that fan relay - especially if it isn't Volvo. Sometimes the connections to it get rather corroded. I know at one point I had a similar error, literally just had to clean the connections off with a wire brush.

Re: Turbo overrun boost noise?

BlackBart wrote: 01 May 2019, 09:49 Thanks everyone -
I'll check on that when I change the small vac lines. Interesting to note there's no boost in neutral / no load. So you're not going to hear or see anything from underneath to find a leak.

As erik said above, do NOT use only a 2x4, which was exactly what I did in that photo (in the link you posted). Use a piece of ply...

Re: Loosen ANY lug nut

Ultimately the lugs shouldn't be on that tight... In a jam this is a great idea.

Re: Front brake piston stuck

Holy mackerel, thanks to everyone for the feedback! While I change motor oil regularly, and swap air filters, I've not been good about brake fluid changes. I am just now, later in life, learning what really needs to be maintained, vs. That What The Mechanic Said to Do. BKM, that video was excellent...
