Re: Refurbishing my AC: what to replace ?

Re: Sunroof track arm
Looking at the parts drawing, I don't see a way to remove much other than the glass without taking the cassette out which unfortunately means the headliner too. Re: Viscous coupler
I have 2 sitting in my garage. I will have to take one case apart to get to the VC unit to measure it. Give me a week as I am trying to finish my parts catalogue project. I'll then happily take one apart to do any required measurements.

Parking Brake Cable Replacement on AWD P80s
I've been looking for more information on parking brake cable replacements for AWD P80s. One of mine is for sure broken and needs replaced. I have the parts on hand, but all I see are FWD P80 tutorials and I believe the routing for the cables may be a bit different. Has anyone replaced theirs and ca...

Re: Parking Brake Cable Replacement on AWD P80s

So inside: Remove the center console and the rear seat base (AWD wagon, sedan AWD and FWD). Pull the trim alone the lower edge of the door surround to allow the carpet to be ...

That post about the 2 rack styles was the turning point. Many thanks for that path to follow. As it turns out, the Rock Auto part description does not specify which rack the part fits. (I'm sending a request to update to help the next vintage owner) So the one received was for a SMI and of course I ...
