Re: Proper Propshaft Angle

Yes, they run at an angle on that vehicle. The center support has no odd bolt hole offset that you missed.

Re: Wiper Arm Cover/Cap Removal Technique

I just pull them off. Looking up the part and seeing the pic - one should be able to pull the sides out and the the square side up and pull towards the round side so the rear tab releases.

Re: Motive Bleeder How High Is Too High?

The ABS module can handle high pressure.
The problem is the reservoir, above 20 psi you risk blowing it up. Search bmw forum for this.

I use my ATE cap + air compressor + 10 psi for bleeding.

Re: Siphoning Fuel From Tank

It’s a substantial technical lift from the method an ice pick through the bottom of the gas tank and a chewing gum repair.

Additional benefits

Your ice doesn’t taste like gasoline
You get to keep your chewing gum
You can collect a given amount of gas, not just the whole tank.

Re: Replacement Serpentine Belt So Tight

I don't recommend installing the belt by cranking the starter (with ignition coils wirings disconnected).
It is very dangerous and not necessary.

- Measure the belt, measure the belt and measure the belt.
- Then order the correct PN.
- Better yet, relax, install the longer belt and see what happens.
