Thats too cheap. With 10-12 hours of labor in, even low-balled at $25, there is no way I would try to save $100 on parts.

There are few manuals sold here, and the clutches on these things last forever, I think data on aftermarket will be sparse

Pilot bearing is not needed on a 850, even though there is part number for it. I wouldn't install it.

I don't recall that the transmission input shaft had any kind of pilot bearing or bushing on the end when I changed the clutch on my '94. In theory it really shouldn't be necessary so long as the bearing on the input to the transmission is good. I bought a Sachs clutch kit and it did not come with a...

I think what you are describing is the compressor thermostat. It is typically in series with one of the control wires to the compressor.

I've seen a bunch of them where it was simply bypassed.
