Re: 1998 s70 GLT p0455 assistance
Top one is the turbo control valve. Three connections. Bottom one is one version of the purge valve with two connections. There is another version which is squarer and looks a lot like the turbo valve but has only two connections. Pull part numbers off both and post, please. That turbo valve might ...

Re: Can I use 01 V70 inner tie rods for a 98 V70 XC?
According to FCP euro's website, no, it will not work.
The 01' volvo v70s inner tie rods are compatible with 01', 02', and 03' V70 and 03' XC70, along with several other years for S60 and S80 models.

Re: Looking for an amp and wiring harness
Hi Fiodor, I just wired up a C70 amp to the SC-901. You can buy the C70 amps on ebay if you don't have access to junkyards. I just did custom wiring for this project. There is a thread (see below) on how to do it. It isn't the most clear write-up IMO so let me know if you need any help and I'll do a...

Re: Intermittent low oil pressure
A healthy PCV system should suck in, so it looks like you are good there. My guess would still be some issue with the sump but since you replaced all of the seals not sure. Next guess would be an electrical issue with the oil pressure sensor, as Neil suggested.

Re: Intermittent low oil pressure
I'm sure it's disappointing to have a light come on after doing the tedious sump seal replace. Hopefully you can get this sorted. Gotta keep these 98-00' V70XCs on the road!

Re: Banjo bolt delete?
I did it exactly as you describe. Brass nipple to bypass the coolant loop in the banjo bolt, still using the bolt for the PCV. It's effectively the setup from the factory before 99. I'm only a few thousand miles into this arrangement, so far so good. Just check the PCV every 25k instead of 50k and ...
