Most surely you won't have it on the base engine. But look with a flash light right at the rack area for a wire connector - that would be the ss sensor. Usually I think only on XC90, R models as well as Titanium models. https://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/Volvo/S60

It runs when you open the door and network wakes up. Open the door and then use something to close the latch and wait 15 minutes and come back and it should be off and when you pull outside handle it comes on. The network on these cars goes at sleep indeed exactly 10 min (by the second) after not touching anything. See as above, may leave a front window down (passenger one is closer) and listen

The current draw is about 8mA for this fan as the coil is tiny. There's a function in Vida which looks at the current draw to ascertain if it's operational.

Lower control arms are 100k items on good roads , 50k items on bad roads.

That’s for lemforder or Volvo parts , not junk. Those can be 10k parts

wrong engine oil can and will make the VVT solenoid sluggish to react.

Also low oil level, the solenoid runs off oil pressure .
