Re: 2006 V70 wheel fitment
Pull a wheel off each. Look for the Volvo part number on the back side. Post part numbers.

Re: 2006 V70 wheel fitment
Can anyone tell me if the wheel off a 1996 960 has the same bolt pattern and offset to fit my 2006 V70? Thanks, Glenn It has the same bolt pattern and center bore so it will fit. Offsets look close enough. https://www.wheel-size.com/size/volvo/960/1996/ https://www.wheel-size.com/size/volvo/v70/200...

Re: 2006 V70 Hood Release
The first time you replace anything is always the worst. In hindsight it honestly won’t seem that bad. The worst part is moving all the stuff that’s in the way. You’ll ultimately need to remove your airbox, front bumper skin and radiator support (black boomerang shaped thing above which are mounted ...

Re: 2006 V70 Hood Release
Good idea to lube the cable. I also show how to undo the cable somewhere in the video, but also try to adjust a little the two rubber 'stops' on the hood itself. As the hood is opened, the hood has two rubber 'stops', one at each front corner. You may 'unscrew' a little each of these, to release a l...

Re: ‘06 Fuel pump problem?
Time to read off those codes! Does sound like the sending unit. I’ll check my 2005 Alldata to see if there is anything there.

Re: ‘06 Fuel pump problem?
That is very low miles. Did you drive or park on an incline ? Can't tell about the check engine light but I doubt it's a pump problem (but could be a loose cap tank indeed). The sender is only attached to the pump assembly, yet not sold separately. You may ask a garage to remove it and maybe check a...

Off topic - if your snow blower doesn't start
I dare share this with you even if it's not about a car, but still has an engine to it I had many troubles with a rather new snow blower when trying to start it after the summer storage. While there are a couple of things that help - such as draining a little bit of gas or even removing the emulsion...

P80 P2 Subframe Bushing installation with pictures 3507923
Just completed installing 4 subframe bushings and new spring seats with genuine Volvo parts. Its a pretty straightforward job for those contemplating it. I didn't document the spring seat install as it is a simple process. Subframe bushings should take 3 or 4 hours with hand tools, nothing special r...
