Replaced engine oil & filter, replaced ATF & Magelife in-line filter, and installed new LED Bi-Xenon bulbs.
Removing the front bumper keeps on getting easier by the year. Now it takes less than 5 minutes.

Re: 06 V70, cranks but no start
Was the oil leaking from the crankshaft seal? When I first replaced the front crankshaft seal it started leaking right away. The splines on the crankshaft easily split the seal. If it is the front crankshaft seal then use either a funnel over the splines or wrap them with electrical tape. Whatever y...

Re: What is your next Volvo?
For my nephew I just reconditioned a 2005 V70. It has 251k miles but that 2.4L with hydraulic lifters will last longer than a 2.5T engine. I dropped the sump, cleaned & repaired the clogged PCV, new water pump, TB, tensioner pulley, idler pulley, serpentine belt, spark plugs, rotors & pads.....

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Used my P2 to drive up to Davidson County TN just south of Nashville. With 4 chainsaws and a few coolers in the back 4 of us helped do some tree cleanup the last 2 days. The southerners were biting their teeth while I safely drove over the icy roads. I am so fortunate that ice storm shifted north of...
