'08 S60 2.5T stutter on start
I've been trying to pin down this gremlin for a while now and it's starting to worry me going into the winter season. I've owned my 08 S60 2.5T for 18 months now and for the first 6 it was perfect, then intermittently it would have a small issue when it was starting. It wouldn't happen predictably a...

Re: ECM121B code when below freezing
You can get to that hidden on with a 1/4 drive ratchet and M6 socket on a long extension and a wobble. Not too tight, like firm wrist torque, not elbow torque

Re: 2001-2007 XC70 oil pan drop question
Good question. Visually looking at the kits one obviously has more gaskets and one extra black o-ring. After about 20 or so seconds in KPII if you listen closely under the hood in that area you'll hear a faint whining sound that comes an...

Re: Engine Temperature Increase after Water Pump, Thermostat and Coolant replacement
You will lose a bit, like 500 mL if you don't drain down. Cover the alternator, rinse off, top up when done with 50-50.

Re: Haldex Oil Change
Rear of the flange has 2 extra holes with threads, use M8 bolts to push the flange out. If the threads are rusted out you may have luck with a cold chisel and hammer on the CV joint itself. One more way is to unbolt the front CV and the support bearing and use the driveshaft itself as a reverse hamm...

Re: Haldex Oil Change
I removed the center bearing, while pushing with the M8 bolt at the back of the Flange, pull down the propeller shaft at the cross brace. I used only one M8 x 30mm bolt to push the Cv joint out that way. 1/2 wrench with an extender and a 24mm socket worked, but i had a counter-hold tool, and then an...
