XC60 Intermittent no start when pushing start button
2010 XC60 with keyless start. I put the fob in, depress the brake, hit the start/stop button and get nothing. Battery is good. Fob battery is brand new. I will take the fob out, put it back in and still nothing. This might go on for a number of tries. Then for no reason that i can determine it will ...

Re: Advice on mounting a LED Light Bar
Pete, How did you make that set up? And how is it secured to the mounting bolts? BlackBart, Any idea where to buy that bracket that mounts behind the license plate. Also, I thought of doing something with the license plate bracket but mine is too flimsy. It wobbles. BTW, fog lamps should be mounted ...

Re: Sway bar / stabilizer bar rattle
You too??? I had the exact same symptoms for years. Drove me crazy. Finally had a shop tell me in 15 seconds what the problem was after I told him the symptoms. The new bushings have given me a whole new front end!!!!

Re: Advice on mounting a LED Light Bar
Thanks for the reply. Interesting idea about the horn mounts. Might have to take a peek in there. Yes, stability is important. The light bar is fairly heavy and I do not want it to shake etc. That is why i am looking for a really solid mounting arrangement. As you can see by the holes, I had previou...

Advice on mounting a LED Light Bar
2004 XC70. I live in northern VT. Nights are dark and the roads are empty. I want to be able to see farther down the road at night than the stock high beams provide for. Recently purchased this Osram LED light bar designed to be driving lamps. Got my advice from Daniel Stern Lighting. If you don't k...

Re: High beam dilemma
Interesting thought. Just tried the lights with the dial switch in all three positions. Nothing. But I have looked at the bulbs. They seem to be way too serious a bulb to be a DRL. Also there are several fuses marked High Beam that are functional. Have no power with high beams off but have power wit...

Re: High beam dilemma
Self leveling. Which btw is not working. The bracket on the rear suspension has broken free. it is just hanging there. the rivet that holds to to the frame broke. i cannot reach in there well enough with the car on the ground to put a screw in to remount the bracket. going to have my local shop put ...

High beam dilemma
2004 xc70. High beams do not work. I believe the switch is fine. When i switch them on the low beams rise up, the blue dash light lights up, the fuses under the hood show power on both sides when switch is on, none when off, the fuse on the side of the dash shows power on both sides. Just replaced w...
