Re: Poor brake performance

Yesterday i replaced the ABS module and yes that was the issue now the car brakes much better but the manual says this: If system has been completely or partially drained of brake fluid, system must be pressure-bled. I didnt presure bleed because i dont have a presurre bleeder, i just did the typica...

Re: Poor brake performance

i never changed the flexi-hoses, the pedal is hard, and about the check valve, it is on the brake booster i pulled it with the engine runing and it was sucking air correcly. Im going to buy some flexy hoses, maybe a metal ones and replace them, even if those are not colapsed is not a bad idea to rep...

Re: Volvo 850 strange boost problem

Today I replaced the tcv, I installed a newer model (pierburg), the boost is no more spiking it keeps stable but I still see It a bit lowish, tomorrow will install a boost gauge and see how much it's really boosting.
How much psi should a t5 boost in normal conditions?

Re: Volvo 850 strange boost problem

My cbv is holding vacuum perfectly I didn't pull it to inspect but it seems ok. Today I adjusted the wastegate to spec and I got a faster spool but now the boost is unstable between 3k and 4k rpm it's bouncing back and forth between half white lane a 3/4 during that range. Should I pull the cbv to i...
