Took the V70 out for a good 250 mile highway run. Ran great, but at about the 200 mile mark I got a CEL.
Checked it when I got home; P0455. Evap system gross leak / no flow. So I'll take a look at the hoses, but I'm thinking that it is one of the valves in the system, since all of the hoses are new.

I picked up a smoke machine for well under a $100 ( Autool SDT 60 - made in China, but REALLY well made ).
Kind of invaluable when working on these old rigs with old hoses.

Well I guess we can keep our fingers crossed that Scotty will man up, have an explanation, and make things right.

I haven't heard of this happening here before. I would hope that whoever the deadbeat is, that they will be outed by management so no one else falls prey to this thief, as well as being banned from the forum.

Are you running the same tires /tyres as in 2019 ? That's usually the first place I look at when it comes to cabin road noise.

Basically you line up the marks on the gears and crank, then rotate the crank 90* forward, then back to alignment. Then lock things up and go about installing the belt with the hub loaded.

Found a couple of good parts out in the junkyard.
'99 -'00 turbo passenger side axle, and a V.V.T hub still on the cam.
I'll toss the cam.
