so it seems like the car has settled in on P0087 Low Fuel Pressure and P0172. It recently shutdown while driving when she accelerated. She is Getting impatient with dad trying to find the exact cause so looking like im taking it to the shop today.

It looks like I should be looking for air leaks, MAF issues, fuel pressure regulator, etc. So excess air in the system is causing the fuel to essentially be turned down as far as possible maybe putting this into a low low fuel pressure scenario where it wont start.

does that sound possible?

Thanks for the info. There is no compressor or A/C lines covered in ice. It seems like when she brakes or accelerates the volume changes.

Do the XC90s have a lower blower volume? Are there higher volume blower fans that can be installed?

My daughters 2008 xc90 A/C system works but seems to have low air volume and takes a while to cool the car down. The air is cold in the vent.

I have noticed if I remove the cabin filter it does increase the volume.

Is this a known issue?

Any suggestions?

Hi, I am going to replace brakes for my daughters 2008 xc90 2wd. I dont have the car here to measure the rotor size and a couple dealers I called wouldnt tell me the size for her VIN. the VIN is YV4CY982581466669 Does anybody know how I can tell what the rotor size is from that VIN?
