Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Well, I think my S70 decided to call it quits on my commute home. I got the dreaded flashing arrow followed by the check engine light. Codes P0740 and P1618. I Cleared the codes when I got home, took it for a spin around the block... Shuddering on acceleration and buzzing noises. I'm sure the Trans...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Replaced the Front Brake pads and Rotors on my '99 GLT
I went with Textar again, Since Powerstop dropped the ball and sent the wrong pads.
I really wanted to see If the powerstop pads kick out less dust...

That’s a rare colour for an S70 and the year of champions and Princes I think you have the Columba wheels on that to...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
You checked the wastegate with the pressure setting, correct? Most Mityvac models only do vacuum. I believe the GLT should be set to 2 PSI, but I'd have to confirm that. Yes, the mightyvac I used only has a vacuum gauge on it. I basically wanted to check if the diaphragm was leaking, which it is no...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
The wastegate flap itself moves around freely when it's open, so that's normal. However while the WG is closed, it should be held on there tight. If you're referring to the arm, that could possibly be creating a weak seal if it moves around with the actuator connected. Keep us posted! Yes the waste...

So either my new TVS is defective or my original one was defective and I didn't notice it because my wastegate actuator is not adjusted ...
