Sounds like two different issues. Brakes: you have air in there somewhere. Tell your shop not to use the machine. Did you try the UV dye yet? Suck out enough coolant (Turkey Baster works well) to keep on min line, power wash engine with some degreaser, add dye, drive around slowly, check w uv light, drive fast, check again.

I thought that too, but it goes to/from behind throttle body to somewhere behind engine. Possible EVAP?

A bad oil change shorted out alternator causing a stupid tiny fire. Alternator replaced. Soldered wires and replaced. The little red dragon fires up fine but I want to replace my super burnt part while I have car opened up a bit.
