The oil trap return line makes a little U inside the oil pan I believe, that's where the crap stays

No one enjoys the sun and heat, much less when it's this humid out. It is the only thing that makes sense, as there is nowhere else on the engine pressure can build

If the PCV system is in good working condition and you are still getting excessive crankcase pressure at idle. It indicates higher then normal blow-by (Gases getting past the piston rings) . Did you remove the Oil pan doing the PCV service? You can unclog the passage from the PCV into the engine, but it runs a bit deeper than that and is probably clogged up near the oil pickup

Did you check if the oil drain passage to the sump was clear when changing the PCV? Sounds like the most likely culprit
