Yes failed glove test is proof of excessive crankcase pressure.Am I correct in assuming the fact that the dipstick gets pushed out releases the pressure?
If the PCV system is in good working condition and you are still getting excessive crankcase pressure at idle. It indicates higher then normal blow-by (Gases getting past the piston rings) . Can you get a Borescope and look at the pistons and cylinder walls?If so, I don't really understand how it can be building up further, since the dipstick is always out now (I deliberately never push it back in).
