Re: 2013 C30 Fuel Filter Location
Why post this answer at all? Under a shield? How totally useless. The diagrams that you mention are pointless and show no detail as to route of the components. If you don't know, don't post a reply as an answer. I'm working on an 09 C30 and have come across the same issue. Guess I'll call the dealer...

Re: Engine stuttering. P0090 and P2177
Ended up swapping the PEM with another unit from my other 09 C30 and drove around. Got the P2177 code again but not the P0090. So, now what? I read that it could be vacuum lines, or the fuel filter, MAF, or the pump, etc. Good Grief.

Re: Engine stuttering. P0090 and P2177
Thanks Rick. I'm checking the PEM next. Any idea where it is in the C30?

Engine stuttering. P0090 and P2177
Gday all. I've got an 09 C30 that is occasionally sputtering after idle and sometimes dies outright. I assume it is a fuel supply issue but I haven't been able to find an answer. I replaced the fuel pressure sensor from a prior code but afterwards I got this issue and the new codes. I searched for a...

Re: Replacing the timing belt
Doh! Yeah, car is sitting on stands. I always use the same height when I work on a car. Sorry about the confusion. Basically, the cv joint boot will nearly touch the control arm. I had to use standard 1/4 drive sockets on the job. Couldn't even use an extension most of the time and had to resort to ...

Re: Replacing the timing belt
The ONLY way to get the water pump out of the engine bay is to lower the engine to 11.25" from the garage floor. That measurement was taken from the pass side of the oil pan. The engine really looks odd dropped that far but it works and nothing breaks. I raised it back up a quarter inch to clea...

Re: Replacing the timing belt
The worst part so far is getting the water pump out of the engine bay. With that stupid plastic shroud it's a bloody nightmare. As for the cams, once you remove the belt, the cams can be rotated 360 clockwise so it becomes a nonissue. Ensure the crank is at TDC and set your cams. I do recommend the ...

Re: Replacing the timing belt
Well, if you're working on the P1 platform Volvo or Ford, I finally found a really detailed and thorough video that covers this engine. Thank you Angel Car Care, most appreciated.

Re: Replacing the timing belt
Wasn't anything new except the photo of the end of the cam matches mine but the response from Nick was less than useless. What was worse is that one pic of the end of the cam is the only other shot that I've seen and IT was useless too. Thanks for the extra article though. I had not seen that one.

Re: Replacing the timing belt
My other issue is this. The end of the camshaft doesn't resemble any of the other videos and images that I have seen. I'm lost now because the crank is at TDC but the camshaft are both off by at least 15°. I need to realign the camshaft but I'm fearful of jacking it up worse than it is. 20200512_161...
