Thanks, foggy and scot, I talked to a very friendly rep at ipd after exhausting options. I like their loaded struts- has all the good, proprietary bits and saves a LOT of hassle. I have spring compressors, but meh. The rep assured me they weren't like 2+ months out; I should have them end of month. ...

Amazon loaded front struts- gamble too big?
2000 V70XC needs struts, in a bit of a hurry. The ones I can get off Amazon (nothing locally!) are rather cheap/inexpensive
