Re: Leak from fuel tank when filling up!
The repair was finished after finding fuel safe silicon fuel hose to use as the pipe joiner.. This has worked perfectly and the car sails through mot inspection... I used cv boot clips to secure the pipe in place and it looks intentional and factory standard.. No leaks and it is still holding strong..

Re: Rear power socket questions.
In that case is there a way to stop the depleted leisure battery from flattening the car battery?
Without having to throw a switch or something everytime I stop the car?
I figure someone has done something before like this being such a versatile vehicle

Re: Rear power socket questions.
OK let me re-woord the question forget the car until i mention it 😂, I want to create a leisure battery box to use in my tent to power phone chargers, digital camera charger and lighting with a fridge output. IF I plug it into the rear 12v power socket in the car the morning after use during the nig...

Re: Rear power socket questions.
You've miss-understood my question..
I don't want to use the car battery overnight. I want to use an external battery. I'm asking about output of the rear socket to recharge that whilst driving durin the day

Re: Start prohibited!
No I'm in UK 🇬🇧, I tend to have electrical issues in the winter funnily enough. My etm failure began in the winter months then became less of a problem during the summer (I had it reached last autumn as it started acting up again all the time) . Also I currently have a bad passenger lock which works...

Re: Start prohibited!
I run a hawk lite 240. I have it wired and installed behind the rear drivers side lights in the access well... It looks a little messy but I've got it wire to an additional shock sensor instead of Internal sonics.. Its really only due to the neighbours kids climb over the cars and it warns them off ...

Re: Start prohibited!
I looked into that when the siren module was toast. It seems to wire into everything.. I talked to a few professional alarm installers also and they said just pull the fuse and leave in place as it is neigh on Impossible to remove without causing all sorts of electrical gremlins. They did say volvo ...

Re: Wheel nuts...
Thanks for the advice.
I've always removed locking nut first and obviously don't torque it, unfortunately my car
Seems to bind the nuts.
I'll give the antiseize a go.. Once I've managed to remove the seized locking nut
