I had similar problems with my 2000 s80. Just replaced the MAF sensor. Hope this does the trick. I will keep you posted.

Does anyone have directions on removing and cleaning throttle body and replacing air intake hose? I'm hoping one of these is causing s80 to not start. I thought it was crack in distributor cap, but would not start on a very hot day.
