It’s the bolt on the pass side of engine, the second it warms up it begins to pool.

Any thoughts on permanent fix?

Is pulling that bolt and rtving it to stop the leak a decent idea?

Strangest thing, I have a couple of leaks. I’ve down the pcv test (thanks volvolugnut) and confirmed that I have good vacuum. I replaced with a Volvo coil from the junkyard. Thanks for the tips, those sites look great. I’m luckily I have other vehicles. I was really hoping that pcv was the cause of my oil problem, I’m afraid it isn’t. I’m gonna have to start a new oil leak post after searching all the others. Thanks again ...

Swapped #5 for a junkyard coil and it runs much better with no codes. I’ll be chasing oil leaks till the cows come home.

So thankfully, it passed the glove test, would’ve sucked it in completely if I didn’t have a few big rubber bands on there. Now I’m left with a brand new code, misfire in cylinder 5. I’ll check that right now, thanks for the advice. I’ve replaced those on my fords before, seems like a common failing to all the “new” vehicles.

Hey folks, yet another update. I bought plugs from the Volvo dealership and brought one in to show the tech. He said that the particular ones I had were garbage (auto lite) but idk. I have it started at running reasonably well right now. Well, except the oil leak at the rear of the manifold….yikes! ...

Not as forgiving as Fords I guess, thought since they owned them at the time, I’d be ok.
