Did you try to source a center muffler for a 960? Silverline Exhaust VL5805: Muffler - Center Ansa Oer. Fits 88-90 760 with 2.3 and 2.8.

no. i want a 940 with the straight 4.

940SE is a 960 with a B230FT. So think 88-90 760 Turbo.

Have you looked at the brake booster?

Radio Suppression Relay poor wiring connection will cause no power to the injectors. You'll find this on the inner fender.

I'm thinking I used 36 mm and an air impact to remove the nuts.

1992 960 interior is the same as 1988 -1990 760 and 1991-92 940 SE

Verify if the crank pully is slipping.

Maybe you can adjust the parking brake cables at the parking brake handle. But I see that you've already tried this.
