Any codes? I believe the all-wheel-drive system engages when wheel speeds are off front to back a wheel speed sensor issue normally will trigger an ABS code. Are the tire sizes the same front to back?

Pulling the fuse would seem to indicate that the mechanical side is OK.

2010 XC90, the car was jumping skitting when in lock.

i've found that its stick in awd all to time, but when i pull the fuse you can feel it release from it and the skitting and jumping stops.

I have serviced the haldex unit, also swapped the control solenoid. it also makes no difference ...

Can you shoot a video of this and put it up somewhere like YouTube or a video share website? Preferably shot by a second person who is filming close to the wheel.


No video but what I have found out is that it’s stuck in 4wd until I pull the fuse and you can feel it drop out. It then drives fine ...

I ment to add I have just replaced some of the suspension bushings as they looked abit sketchy.
So the car will be to track up and also the tyres are winters now.

Just had new wheel bearings Disks, shoes and pads. Ive also not set the handbrake shoes up yet so ...
