I may go the restoration route. Erievovo doesn't show anything for C30's.
I know the xenon is better than halogen but can I 'downgrade' to halogen easily?
I see someone did a Hammer of Thor customization that looks really cool. I wish there were a plug and play aftermarket set of those available.

Re: C30 Headlights
What type of conversion is out there? About how much did you find the replacements for?

C30 Headlights
2009 C30. It looks like the previous owner separated the lens from the left headlight assembly at some point and used some type of black sealant to close it up. The repair looks pretty bad at it does leak.

Re: C30 Timing Belt
So I've also discovered the 2 bolts connecting the mount to the engine are snapped. Hopefully a bolt extracter will work. I just can't understand how this could happen.

Re: C30 Timing Belt
Thanks guys. I had a chance to dig a bit deeper and found this. WTF! The intake came is resting on the motor mount. How could this happen. Is it a collapsed mount? It does appear to be slanted. Could the transmission mount cause this?

Re: C30 Timing Belt
Any idea what would cause the belt to wear like this? I haven't dug into it yet.

Re: C30 Broken Heater Hose
Done. All 4 hoses have been replaced. Not a difficult job, but I did have a few challenges. Getting the lower hose off the heater core was brutal, even with the special tool. Removing the upper hose from the engine, and getting the new one on, was a nightmare.
Thanks.

Re: C30 Broken Heater Hose
I picked up a brass connector from Lowe's. I feel like the trouble and time spent on installing it could be better spent installing new parts, so I order all 4 heater hoses which should arrive tomorrow.

Re: C30 Broken Heater Hose
Thanks Neil. If I remove the lower hose, I'll have to remove the upper hose to get to it, so I might as well change all four hose.
