I need to replace the front Left wheel bearing on my 2014 FWD s60. I see two ways of doing it - replace bearing only (I can get a puller / press kit), or replace the hub assembly..
It seems way less disassembly just replacing the bearing..

Which way would you recommend?

I guess "hot" is relative - I moved here from New Orleans . It got up to 92 F last year, where I live.. So Rotella T6 full synthetic 15/40?

2014 s60 T5, about 2 1/2 quarts for 6K miles, using Wal Mart Supertech high mileage 5w / 30 all synthetic.. 101K miles..
Is this normal? Is it the oil itself?
