I was told my s60 with low profile tires, FWD has a 300hp engine. The engine code is 59. It's much faster than some of the other s60s I driven. The is engine is a B5254 Modle 2.5T. I know Volvo made a 300hp engine. But how do I know what I have?

ECU
Hi There
My V70 XC 98,000 Was orginally a California Car. I'm being told to up grade the ECU or change it out for Colorado. If I do I could get better gas mileage and performance. Is this true, would it be worth it" Geomart

Re: Transmission code P1618
Got car back from Dealer about the Transmission Code P1618. I'm being told the Torque Converter Switch in the Valve Body is Bad. They would not clear the codes in the TCM, will discontecting the Battery remove them? Been reading all the bad things on the Forum about these Transmissions. I'm wounderi...

Re: Transmission code P1618
Thanks for the Help. It had me worried. I just had the Throttle Module replaced a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering if there was some relation. Maybe the Mechcanic just losened something. And low and behold, I got the DRL's turned off. After being told several times it could not be done. While it...

Transmission code P1618
Hi All
I have a 2001 V70, 98,000. I just got a code P1618, Fault on Lead Between AW-50-52, Motroic 4.3. I had the code cleared, it came back within 100 miles. The Car runs find. Cannot detect any difference. Anyone have this problem. Thanks Geomart.

Re: DRL'S
I went back to the Volvo Shop again to get them to turn off the DRL's. They hooked up the Car, and still wasn't able to do it. They showed me on the screen. We went through all the different pages and wasn't able to find an adjustment page. I don't know what module I have, but it seems to be somethi...

Re: DRL'S
Went back to Independence Volvo. Got them to try. They hooked it to the lap top. Went in to a couple of different programs, but was not able to turn the DRL's off. They got the lights to turn off but as soon as the car was turned on and off, the lights came back on. They at least tried, maybe there ...

Re: ABS & Trac Lights on
Sorry 97, 850, 96,000 miles non turbo. The only thing I haven't checked is the break switch. I haven't had any problems with it until now. My daughter still drives the 83, 240, 180,000.
